Horrorshow IV:

SIGH (here I am)

Wow! The ten minute fest is over. I can hardly believe it.

Wasn't it grand? Weren't we adored? (Didn't we walk through about two weeks straight with some pretty serious hang-overs?)
By crikey, I had a good time, and am very sad to see it over with (although, I have been sleeping better, eating better, spending more time with my family...) and, it's not over, yet! Planning has already begun for the next Horrorshow. I was at the first meeting, and there were some pretty groovy ideas bandied about. I can't wait to see it!
Unfortunately, waiting is exactly what I'll have to do, as I have imposed upon myself a brief hiatus (just from the play, not from EMU or my blogging duties) I decided I would actually like to see my children through their next birthdays, and Halloween. However, I intend to make it to one show, at least. That seems reasonable, right?

Oh, I'm rambling, at this point... I'm still reeling from what a kick a$$ job we all did with "Oily, oily oxen sheen", am I right, am I right?

Well, I think we all deserve a big pat on our collective back. Furthermore, I'd like to extend my well wishes for the brave individuals taking on the Horrorshow. God speed and may heaven have mercy on your souls.

There is that odd, yet

There is that odd, yet relieved feeling regarding the play festival. The stress level is down, sleeping patterns are returning to as normal as they can and some semblance of normalcy is regained. Yet, there is a small empty spot adjacent to those emotions. I miss the fun, the camaraderie, the nervousness followed by the adrenaline rush of success. I will miss the interconnectivization, the car-penis, the Spirit Guide, the swimming pool, the black turkey..and Sprinkles et al, I shall miss most of all.

I have lauded and thanked you ad nauseum so I will thank all of EMU for this chance to do it once and then take my respite as well and prepare for it all over again next year. Farewell to the Oxen Sheen, bring on the felines

Holy crap!

Not making any promises, but I'm finding I have enough time on my hands to take in some HTML tutorials! Imagine that!
