Horrorshow IV:

Here I go again (don't hold your breath)

So, I hear that Horrorshow IIID still needs directors. I also hear that several EMUs are very busy preparing for the upcoming Victor Continental show (but that's kind of old news, I guess...or rather, par for the course)...so, anybody know any good jokes?

Alright, rather than rely on second-hand information (which I seem to have an abundance of, despite the fact that I'm on "hiatus"), I will, once again, attempt to showcase my web-savvy. I really have been trying to brush up when I get a spare moment or two, and am finally (sort of) feeling brave enough to try and post a link.

Lets get the word out!

Hey guys,
I know we can all get bogged down with all of the work involved in putting up a production but lets remember to keep all of the positive vibes about our awsome theatre company. It is easy to dwell on the negative things associated with putting on a show like: not having a life, working with people we don't like, production details, delays, etc. but the positive aspects of our company far outweigh the negative ones.

Think, woman, think!

Um...ok...an EMU-themed blog entry...C'MON, it can't be that difficult.
Jeez, it's really hard to know what to write about when you've, intentionally, put yourself out of the loop.
Well, there's the "Oily, oily oxen sheen" post-mortem, tonight at the Sorrels'...any takers?
There's also "Felt-a-palooza" at the Granada (not strictly EMU-related, although there's certainly been a lot of cross-pollenation between the two groups)

SIGH (here I am)

Wow! The ten minute fest is over. I can hardly believe it.

Wasn't it grand? Weren't we adored? (Didn't we walk through about two weeks straight with some pretty serious hang-overs?)
By crikey, I had a good time, and am very sad to see it over with (although, I have been sleeping better, eating better, spending more time with my family...) and, it's not over, yet! Planning has already begun for the next Horrorshow. I was at the first meeting, and there were some pretty groovy ideas bandied about. I can't wait to see it!

Broken Legs

Everyone,
I just wanted to tell everyone involved with Oily Oily Oxen Sheen that they did a wonderful job and made me and E.M.U. proud. We all have jobs and obligations so to give your time to us and the theatre company means a great deal to me. All work and talent is greatly appreciated.
Now that we all have another successful show under our belts lets get geared up for the third annual Horror Show! This years show is going to be better than ever. Shows will be staged the weekend before and weekend of Halloween so mark your calendars and come and see or get involved in some way.
